Guest 1immortal Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 I ran into this issue ... bought two blades, flashed one of them with all the wanted apps, nandroided it , and flashed the nandroid to the other phone, got two identical MACs... is there any way of changing the MAC address after this ?

Try a factory reset, afaik the only place the MAC could be cached is on the data partition so if you cloned that too it maybe why it's duplicated. You may be better off backing up/installing the apps using titanium or mybackup root or astro etc Edited February 23, 2011 by rjm2k
Guest 1immortal Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 well, just changed it: in the data/misc/wifi folder you have a file called athSavedEeprom.bin pull it out, use a hex editor to change one bit of the MAC written there, push it back, and restart the phone. after restart, new MAC.
