New Base - Based on Corvus VegaRom - BIG THANKS TO THIS GUY (Corvus)

including corvus kernel.

Wifi connect without static IP including setting wifi to never sleep

Installation

ClockworkRecovery (for now)

Copy downloaded file to the root of SD

Restart your device in recovery mode

PERFORM A NANDROID BACKUP FROM THE MENU

Full Wipe Cache and data

Select the option to install zip from SD

Then select the zip you copied to your SD

When complete, Restart your device.

FAQ:

Wifi not connecting

Connect using static IP

Settings--->>>wireless & networks-->>>Wi-Fi Settings ---->>>press menu ---->>>advanced--->>>tick Use static Ip, then fill out the field.

You can get all the information to fill out the fields by typing Ipconfig/all for windows users.

Power button Option

Download quick boot from the market. That should do it.

I am downloading it now.

I read a few days ago that you have to be careful with the Corvus kernel when you are changing USB mode between slave and host (sorry I cannot remember the details). Is it the same with this ROM?

I tested out v0.2 - everything seems to work well, apart from that when you select the brightness option in settings, a force close message appears. I don't know if this has been fixed in v0.3, though.

But, thanks for your hard work, the rom works really well. :D

Thanks for noting that, just saw it.for now you can download quick settings from the market.it has options to adjust brightness. will look into that soon.

Thanks mate loving this rom big time. Already spent to much time messing about with canvas.

Not had any day to day issues but did have a force close when tring to adjust a few settings such as brightness.

Now i have got opera loaded and working will stick with this rom for the time being.
