Guest Mikey1980 Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 Hi, Sorry of this post is dumb, I am from the windows world and making my first forray into android by purchasing a tablet. What I wanted to know is will the Advent vega support basic video editing and is there an app for it. What I am looking to do is take raw AVHCD files from a panny HD camcorder and quickly stitch them together for bigger screen playback, I don't want to add affects or anything just stitch it together and convert to a different format, which will probably be the biggest killer that you will all say no it isn't possible, I hope it is though as I have a vega reserved at my local currys.
Guest shutdown Posted February 25, 2011 Report Posted February 25, 2011 There won't be enough power in the machine to edit raw AVHCD files. That's a lot of data to be bundling into an editing suite. I'm not aware of any app at present that can do anything like that, especially with that codec. You could look at Clesh video editor on the market. Not free but may help with some editing you need.
