Guest neo76100 Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 Good news, looking for a A1pass rom
Guest HustlinDaily Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 I think it is the Vodafone Italy ROM. No idea if it simlocks the phone or not but not worth the risk.
Guest renzs Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 I think it is the Vodafone Italy ROM. No idea if it simlocks the phone or not but not worth the risk. Agreed.. it might have the same effect as the fido/rogers rom. I was lucky.. it only changed my phone type to "PA FIDO" but didn't lock my phone. I cannot change it back to AAP tho.. ~renzs
Guest KingsizeX Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 Ya it would be great to have this with 256 PASS! It's an European Version with NEW Baseband and I hope it helps to solve some some call issues people are having. Can anyone help? I know that there are people here that can make it 256 Pass in a few seconds.
Guest Smallville CK Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 FroYo 2.2.2 ? What are the changes from 4.002.14?
Guest _Drifter_ Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 It would be great if you pass to 256mb A1. I love tried out.
Guest fischschneehase Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 Has someone tried yet if it locks the phone?
Guest fear_factory84 Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 I have modified 256 post it... vodafone italy as I know does not sell locked phones. Maybe there is a modified theme or apps on top of it..
Guest renzs Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 I don't get it. The froyo version is higher (2.2.2 vs 2.2) but the baseband version is lower (05.01.06 vs 05.02.01) compared to the 4.005.06.AAP.G2F
Guest HustlinDaily Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Must be an AAP v EMEA thing. Baseband on 4.002.14.EMEA.GEN1 is A1-05.01.05
Guest HustlinDaily Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 I also find the white status bar on the screenshot interesting. Does this ROM have Acer UI?
Guest zombolo Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 I have modified 256 Download link please!

Guest zombolo Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 New basehand optimized radio. The three vodafone apps con be easily deleted by Root Explorer. Still waiting for a 256mb hack... :/ Is mcboy still active in the Liquid scene?
Guest Elisha82 Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Finally the lovely white Eclair theme makes its way back.
Guest KingsizeX Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 New basehand optimized radio. The three vodafone apps con be easily deleted by Root Explorer. Still waiting for a 256mb hack... :/ Is mcboy still active in the Liquid scene? McBoy told in another thread that he would teach "us" how to make 256Mb PASS, he even said he was writing it in French (his native language) but I think (correct me if I'm wrong) never really wrote it here at Modaco... any info on this? I think that there are only two possibilities to do it (maybe I'm wrong but these are my beliefs): 1st Possibility - HEX Edit the BIN file (quite easy to perform) 2st Possibility - Unpack, Patch and Repack the BIN file (I don't find any method for this) anyway, you still need to know what to change. Anyone has the knowledge?
