Guest GeoffMills Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 Hi, When I go on a trip, I may sometimes be out of reach of the phone network and WiFi. So I'd like to be able to save on the phone, rather than on the Google server those Gmail messages I've received which relate to the trip I'm on. I searched this forum and some others and didn't find much. What I did find was someone asking how he could save his email to SD card as opposed to the phones internal memory. I thought this might imply that the phone's Google mail messages, when synched, were stored on the phone but this doesn't seem to be. I switched off mobile data and WiFi to test this. and my Gmail area on the phone showed as completely empty. I know I can select text in specific emails and copy and paste it to notes kept on the phone but I'm hoping there's an easier way. Can anyone please advise? Kind regards, Geoff Mills
Guest vermat17 Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Try using the stock e-mail app instead of g-mail. You can use your existing g-mail account and it will keep your emails on the phone.
