market place confusion

Hi

its gone slightly wrong, my device seems to think its got android version 2.1 and wont let me install flash etc. I say it thinks its 2.1, this is because I went to app brain and it said I had 2.1 but the software on the vega says its got 2.2, I'll explain how I got to where I am first.

I just bought a vega and it all worked very well, I installed the latest build and got market place working, flash was fine etc etc.

Then I tried out the USB host mode, this went badly and hung on the fast boot usb ..... screen and I had to flash the stock rom (taken from advents website) back on and start over. This all went well until I tried to get flash working again. it was installed but iplayer complained that it wasn't there so I went to the market palce and it didn't show up when I searched.

going to app brain on the vega found flash player but caim up with a warning saying I only had android 2.1 and that it needed 2.2

I obviously have 2.2 (there is no other version) but for some reason marketplace thinks I've got an older version

Can anyone help out on this, I have no idea what I've done to end up here

Try installing Flash again from one of the links listed here and perhaps it'll work :huh:

I opted for reinstalling the vega stock rom again, testing out the flash still work, it did so went ahead and installed the modaco update again and this time flash worked, no idea what went wrong the first time but works now so all good
