Hello

I have a dell streak. After 2 mounts using yesterday its show me error to all aplications and after reset i got this error on start up:

/bin/e2fsck -y /dev/block/innersd0p6 file system check returned status 1024, e2fsck status was 4

Please return this device to the manufacturer for debugging

After restart the device was reset to default factory setting. Today also when i was on phone, device was shut down itself. After turning on again got same error and back to default settings, no applcattions, sms, etc...

What is the problem?

Thanks

it sounds like you have a bad internal SD card...

boot holding the camera+power buttons, and when you get to the white screen type in *#301#* and then type in 10 to test the SD & SIM card. it should tell you if it's working properly (i don't remember the terminology that it says) but if it's red then it is bad...green is ok.

Thanks for advice stikny817

He pass the test and its show me green for all

that means internal sd card is okey.

again, the phone have show me many errors then after restart back to default setting twice, in 2 days, and today when i was talking on the phone he shut down itself and after restart i get again the same error.

now work normal but every minute i expect to do same.

Maybe inner isn't working as it should regarding the tests

I've had this error twice.

Both times weeks apart and on different ROMS.

Hasn't happened for over a month now, just rebooted my phone and it started okay, didn't need to reset or anything.

+1 for bad inner SD

swap for a known good SD if out of or no warranty, or send it back

This is exactly the problem I had recently. It was becoming very frequent for me. I got it replaced under warranty in the end.

CPW have just replaced my phone for this reason, started off occasionally doing the reboots into resets then getting that message across the screen, ended up with the phone rebooting into a reset and never coming out of the reset and being stuck on the dell logo, just picked up my new one came with 2.2 already installed although for some reason amazon thinks i'm in the US and i have more junk on it then i did with the 2.2 update in December, never had co-pilot or dell stage video, Zenio reader etc so not entirely sure when i updated to 2.2 in December it went through properly.

Sounds almost like its on the prerelease 2.2 as it had all that junk in it

Not sure,

Baseband: GAUSB1A131800-EU

Kernel version: 2.6.32.9-perf

Build number:12821

Is that the same build as the Dec release?
