Guest LittleGuy66 Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) HELLO EVERYONE! NO RELEASE YET! SOON I WILL RELEASE IT! AND SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH, I'M HUNGARIAN.. So this is a Sense-LIKE rom for our Blades which was built in Cyanogen mod 7 (2.3.2) . It's not a stable rom, it has many many bugs. Example: If you don't check Keep screen awake in Call settings, after a call the screen will not turn on automatically, so you have to take the battery out then back and power on.. The gallery sometimes crashes. BUT, have Sense-LIKE Launcher, Sense-LIKE Clock(Fancy Widget), HTC search widget, custom bootanimation and etc.. Screenshots will be soon. More about flashlite: Ok... I was tired yesterday and I said flashlite works and youtube works in single browser..in cm7 it works without flashlite..Sorry for the bad information. Edited February 28, 2011 by LittleGuy66
Guest JimJam707 Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 If it's based on CyanogenMod, then surely it can't be real Sense? And the fact your saying it has Fancy Widget in confirms that it isn't.
Guest Ram229 Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) I'm hungarian too! :) It's a very great idea, looking forward to early betas! Good luck! Edited February 27, 2011 by Ram229

YouTube works in single browser, but i don't know what thing needs flashlite  Screenshots will be soon. By "Sense Launcher" do you mean ACTUAL HTC Sense, or have you just customised LauncherPro with icons, or worse, just added ADW and some poorly made theme off the market, and have decided to call it a "Sense ROM"?
Guest IronDoc Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) Why are we skipping over flashlite? LittleGuy, can you confirm it works and how you managed to get it to? PS: Please reduce the font. Edited February 27, 2011 by IronDoc

Customized ADW... Why? Is it a problem that I collect Sense LIKE apps and put together and call it a Sense Rom??

Guest Matthew Ferguson Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) Customized ADW... Why? Is it a problem that I collect Sense LIKE apps and put together and call it a Sense Rom?? Because a Sense ROM is a rom that has SENSE ON IT . If the ROM does not have Sense on it, it is NOT a sense ROM, it's pseudo sense, or designed to look like sense, it is NOT sense itself. For example, although the HD2 is not designed to have Android Sense on it, it has ROMs ported to it that are Sense ROMs, that have ACTUAL SENSE on them, from the Desire, MyTouch4G or the Desire HD. Another example is the Nexus One. It's not designed to have Sense on it, it's stock, not dissimilar from our Blades, yet it has Desire ROMs ported to it that have Sense, therefore they are Sense ROMs. This is not a sense rom, and I'd appreciate it if you renamed the title and descriptions in your post. "BUT, have Sense Launcher" You DID say it had Sense Launcher. Hence the need to rename your post. Edited February 27, 2011 by Matthew Ferguson
Guest JimJam707 Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 I didn't say that it's real Sense.. The fact you called in "Sense ROM" is implying it is. Please can you rename the thread to "Sense Look Alike ROM" or something?
Guest jurrasstoil Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 [ROM]Sense Rom kinda implies that is in fact Sense. This will be a Sense-themed CM7 however, which is... well... not Sense.
Guest wbaw Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Why are we skipping over flashlite? LittleGuy, can you confirm it works and how you managed to get it to? PS: Please reduce the font. Flash Lite is important. How did you get that working on CM7?
Guest robot1000 Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Can you upload the flashlite files required which are mentioned in the OP?
Guest wbaw Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) Have you actually tested Flash Lite? YouTube videos usually open in the YouTube app, can you test it here: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ Tell us what version it says you have installed (if any). If it does work, please upload the files that you've used. The ones that worked on 2.1 shouldn't work on CM7. Edited February 27, 2011 by wbaw
Guest Matthew Ferguson Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 I have an inkling that he means m.youtube.com, and that it's actually Stagefright doing the work, not flash lite, hence why I just ignored it completely.

I agree after re-reading it. I posted a link so he can test it properly. If it does work, then that's great. Edited February 27, 2011 by wbaw
Guest sorrowuk Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 I put FlashPlugin.apk in system\app folder and libflashliteplugin.so, libflashlitepackage.so and libflashlite_jni.so into system\lib folder. That's it. So who tried that ^^^^^ and did it work?
Guest LVL91 Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) If we have flash on a CM7 rom, then we should tell the cyanogenmod-team. Edited February 27, 2011 by LVL91
Guest The-One Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 (edited) Flash lite requires the htc framework to work properly. That or it would require you hacking the calls that he makes into the framework. By some other words it requires the Sense fully ported. Edited February 27, 2011 by The-One
