Guest sc52 Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 (edited) Found my way here via - http://orangesanfrancisco.co.uk/android/ho...isco-zte-blade/ Unlocked and rooted phone as per instructions. Next step - installing Clockwork Mod. Followed instructions re Google account and clicking on Market to tick the terms and conditions section, then to tinyurl/esfile - click download and all I get is "Starting Download" and that's it. A couple of times I've had "Accept Permission" which when clicked then says - "your item will be downloaded" but then nothing. I've turned the phone off and on a number of times, checked that the rooting has taken place (I think so) and can't think of anything else to do. Advise please before this gets consigned to the drawer for use as a spare..... Thanks EDIT - just to say I also get the same when trying to download both clockmd5 and clocknow Edited February 28, 2011 by sc52

If you have already rooted your phone, then just download ROM Manager and install ClockworkMod with it. Then download that ROM what you want and put it onto your sd card and install it via ROM Manager. It's that simple nowadays. Edited February 28, 2011 by Pelemane

I downloaded urooted and installed without problem. However since then I haven't been able to download anything from "Market". All downloads just state "Starting Download" and then nothing happens. I am using wifi - but it makes no difference if I activate 3g and try and download with with either wi-fi on or off. I can browse the web by both methods but just can't download anything from Market. Please advise. Edited March 1, 2011 by sc52
