Guest jusgar Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Hi all. I have a not very important problem but I'd like to solve, if possible. I'm using Acer liquid S100 with original froyo 4.002.14 EMEA GEN1. When I use sygic and the phone is connected with my car receiver Kenwood kde bt60u, I can send/receive calls perfectly and I can hear the callers' voices thru the car speakers. But cannot the navigator voice. in fact, neither thru phone speaker. However, with my wife's Nokia x6 there is no problem at all. I don't know if that is a soft or hardware issue but is frustrating. I would appreciate if someone of you could help me. Thanks in advance.
Guest fear_factory84 Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Using google navigation does it work?
Guest knotts Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 I have the same issue. Guess it's more likely software problem.

Guest jusgar Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Using google navigation does it work? I don't know yet. I'll check it out tomorrow. Thanks.

Guest knotts Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Try to disable A2DP profile in bluetooth settings, as a result you will get your phone calls through your car reciever and stereo through liquid.
Guest fear_factory84 Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 I see that this kenwood model has also ad2p. Check that in bluetooth settings of liquid phone says connected to phone audio and media and not only connected to phone audio. In this way it will use hsp + ad2p, and all audio will go to the car stereo. I have an mw600, an headset that has hsp and ad2p, and when paired with both profiles it works also with navigation. Voice from navigation comes from ad2p.. If this don't work there are apps on the market that route sound to hsp bluetooth instead of ad2p, but I have never tested any of them. Perhaps hsp profile gives poor sound quality compared to ad2p.. http://www.kenwood.com/cs/ce/bt/index.php selecting your model and acer liquid says it's compatible since version 1.6..
Guest jusgar Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Try to disable A2DP profile in bluetooth settings, as a result you will get your phone calls through your car reciever and stereo through liquid. That's the only way I can listen to the navigator. Well, there is other one: selecting "BT Audio" in the receiver as audio source. Thanks for the help, knotts.

I updated the receiver firmware from 3.11 to .12 and nothing happened. I downloaded "BTmono" from the market and doesn't work. In the next step I'll try "Super BT mono Froyo".
Guest knotts Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 I guess nothing can can force bluetooth work correctly except acer devs or our devs.
