Problems installing clockwork

Hi,

im helping a friend installing a clean version of 2.1 instead of Orange's OS. Ive done this before on my phone so I know the proccedure.

However, when I'm trying to install clockwork, freezing the boot by pressing volume up, the phone doesnt react to this. Its going straight to the Orange logo instead. Tried with USB connected and running ecovery-clockwork-2.5.1.8-blade.img however it just says "trying to find device" in cmd.

Any suggestions? Can it be Orange that ve done something to block other OS?

And worth saying is theres nothing wrong with the volume button, works perfectly fine when using the phone.

Thanks!

here is your problem

http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...stboot-blocked/

here is the solution

http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...01-24-oled-tft/

Do a Total Phone Transplant (the repartitioning & install part), and keep this ROM, it has no cons.

Better battery life, everything's faster, no need to unlock, etc. etc. etc.

Thanks! Would like to use the Swedish stock 2.1 tho.

Will UniversalAndroot do the trick?

Thanks.

"It has no cons. Better battery life" if anything, Japanese Jellyfish has WORSE battery life than the stock ROM, if not one of the worst battery performances of all the ROMs. This is not the solution to your issue. As the OP wants clockwork, and this does not provide it, this post should be ignored.

I've not noticed any worse battery life and been using JJ for a week.
