create update.zip?

Hi

I was playing with the latest ROM from Flibblesan (FLB-Froyo G2) and see he's split it into two updates, one containing the bigger apps. It struck me this would be a good way to create a package of my "main" apps that set the phone up as I want it rather than having to install them from scratch. Looking at the update.zip the filestructure and scripting si very simple for installation and would be straightforward to replicate using the APKs I have.

My only query was what the update-binary file (I assume a binary file noting the changes) and how to create it

...and if I missed anything obvious! Ive had a Google but havent found a straightforward guide that explains it.

If its set up anything like mine are it will just write all files in a certain folder. So you can just add apks, try it!
