1) I wanted to install newly created system.img to the ZTE V9 blade using flash_image executable which is there in the folder /system/bin folder. When did 'flash_boot system /sdcard/system.img', it shown some error and when rebooted now stuck up in recovery mode.

2) Have tried to take out battery and putting it back, but seems the device really stuck up.

3) Here is output of some of commands to get the current state of the device in FT Mode (power + volume up + menu key):

a) adb devices

List of devices attached

V9_Camden device

 adb shell

- exec '/system/bin/sh' failed: No such file or directory (2) -

c) fastboot.exe flash recovery C:/recovery-clockwork-3.0.0.6-blade-update_signed.zip

< waiting for device >

and no response even after 1 hour.

d) most of the adb options i tried says the device is in offline mode. Also, tried adb wait-for-device (to wait for the device to come in online mode) but no use.

Can you please suggest anything that worth trying?

Thanks and Regards,

Dinesh

3) Here is output of some of commands to get the current state of the device in FT Mode (power + volume up + menu key):

That is TPT mode, not recovery or fastboot mode.

Power up with "Volume Up" held only to go to fastboot mode. Only then fastboot on PC side will detect the Blade of course. Also you need the Blade USB drivers on the PC if you use Windows.

Everything is pretty much explained in the "How to Install a Custom ROM" guide here in the forum really.

man, some are really lucky that the blade is almost impossible to brick.

I just love the way 'bricked' seems to mean 'I can't get into anything but recovery' now instead of back in the day when it meant 'Im gonna have to connect up the jtag points to sort this'

You DO know the V9 is NOT a blade?

therefore blade images or anything to do with the blade will not work
