Virgin Media email stopped working overnight

Hi guys

anyone else had this problem - virgin media email has stopped working on my san fran overnight - am getting the following error message "cannot safely connect to the server"

Googling around - it seems to be something to do with their safety certificate - but i couldnt actually find a fix for it

Any one else had this problem - or got any ideas on hot to fix

Ok worked out a work arround - its the SSL - go to incoming settings - and change SSL - to accept all certificates.

Think they've done something to their certificate overnight (or its expired or something)

Not sure if its a good idea to change that setting - so would still appreciate any advice that anyone has

Virgin do frequently tamper with their email, and occasionally break it.

Just bumping this - mine stopped working again last night - tried the safey certificate trick and thats not working!!

Has this happen to any other virgin customers?

updated to cm7 yesterday too - so am not sure which one has caused the problem (email was working fine on cm7 but has just stopped :P

is working ok on my wifes iphone, so not sure if this is a problem with cm7 or with virgin media (hmmm) and my other email account is working ok on my phone

driving me mad,.....

The last couple of CM7 Nightlies have broken e-mail so I expect that this is the problem.

I'd imagine this should be resolved in a Nightly during the next couple of days.
