Pinch Zoom in google maps

Hi all, I went in to PC World yesterday to have a play with the vega with a view to buying, Pinch Zoom worked great on web pages but as soon as I went to google maps via the in built web browser it ceased to function, is pinch zoom not supported on the stock browser with google maps, as it worked fine on the samsung tab that was sat next door to it, and I have seen it demoed on the Xoom (although that is running honeycomb i know).

works fine for me, remember the vega on stock software is not worth having, a vega on custom software is! (and it really is easy to do).

install the google maps app.

works much better than the website when you're on an android device.
