Guest Rhysd2 Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 Hello all Been feeling the urge to buy a tablet recently as quite frankly some stuffs just too small for my smartphone when sat on the sofa watching various things  I like the look of the new tablets from MWC/CES but dont like the price tag. So Naturally I was drawn to the vega. Plus the vegas available now! So I was wondering how you think it'll stack up? While all the nice new features on the LG/Moto/Samsung plus the fact they have honeycomb are nice I was wondering if its really justified for the extra cost.... I mean all I'm likely to use it for is web browsing, the odd email, and perhaps the odd movie. So whats your thoughts? thanks Rhys
Guest worto03 Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 Hi, this has pretty much been covered here and here I'd have a read through those threads and see if you've still got any questions. for the record and what you've said your going to use it for I'd say the vega is perfect, looking at the price point on other 'better' tablets I woulnd't have spent that much on a tablet anyway.
Guest tom5 Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 I'm sitting on the fence at the moment wondering wether to buy a Vega, or save for a Xoom/other Honeycomb tablet later in the year. I think one of the main factors is the customisation of apps for tablets and whether any apps that are designed for tablets will require Honeycomb to run. The CNN honeycomb App looks beautiful but the market says it requires 3.0. Any thoughts from those already with Vegas? How do FroYo apps deliver on a tablet sized interface?
