FM Radio on SPV

hiya I was wondering if they did too so i e-mailed them and this is what i got back!!

Thank you for your e-mail to iBIZ Technology. The SD radio will be

compatible with true SDIO devices out on the market. I don't believe the SPV

by Orange is a true SDIO currently. I'm sure it will work with memory cards

and such, but I don't think it will work with SDIO products. I would consult

SPV's manufacturer to verify this information, but this is what I have

gathered. Please do continue to check our website for any updates on this

product and others. Thank you again for your e-mail.

Kind Regards,

Mike

That would explain the slow data transfer rate.

eh? microsoft is pretty sure the hardware supports SDIO!

Actually someone IS developing a GPS device for smartphone using SDIO, i remeber posting about it ages ago (can't be arsed to search for it, if you want the proof do a search yaselves).

Monolithix what do you mean "slow data transfer rate" it supports SD cards and that has a standard fixed data transfer rate accross all SD hardware. As to why its slow when using activesync, think, it connects via the connector at the bottam of your SPV (the serial connector) why do you think the camera is so slow, its all connected my friend!

Go figure?

Maybe. Certainly no more than £20.

If I was that desparate for a radio I'd buy one of those miniature FM ones for about £10.

... Unless it was a digital radio of course. Id be willing to pay a bit more for one of those bad boys.
