Guest Vansphone Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 My local PC World had the Vegas, the Archos 101 and the Ipad next to each other. They have just cut the price of the Ipad to match Apple so it was £70 more than the Vega. I went to the store knowing that I wanted to buy the Vega but I was glad to have the three tablets that I was interested in next to each other. I was immediately impressed with the Ipad's screen. Compared to it, the whites on the Vega screen looked a little grey. I don't think the screen is quite as crisp on the Vega. However, apart from that I was impressed with the Vega so I bought one. It was only in the house for 15 minutes before I put on the MoDaCo Rom.
Guest Alex foster Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 Nice Choice, I brought a Vega a few days ago and flashed with R8, I would be interested in you are having a time/clock issue when you completely shutdown, i.e. does it reset the time and date?

Think the clock issue may be to do with R8 so I installed a free app called ClockSync which now updates my Vega clock to atomic accuracy :(
