Guest spikeh Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 (edited) I'm trying to move anything from the phone's internal storage to the SD card using DT's a2sd in order to fix the rebooting when installing apps issue. I'm using twrock's CM 0.4 ROM. Everything went fine and a2sd is installed. I go into terminal, enter superuser mode, and execute "a2sd check". It tells me that the ext partition is present but is not mounted. I tried searching around but no avail, and it feels like a simple problem. How do I mount the ext partition? Do I need to do it manually in terminal a la desktop linux? Edit: I think it may have to be done in recovery, and I have Clockwork 2.5.0.7. When I try to "mount /sd-ext" it gives this error: E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 (File Exists) Error mounting SDEXT:! Edited March 4, 2011 by spikeh
Guest spikeh Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 did you format your sd card? Yes. I formatted it in GParted with it partitioned as such: | xyz MiB Fat32 | 128 MiB ext2 | 32 MiB linux-swap |.
Guest hunk74 Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 (edited) Did you try "a2sd cachesd"? It moves the cache to your ext partition and automounts it assumingly? Edited March 4, 2011 by hunk74
Guest eckengucker1 Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 Flash and format your card with armon-ra and than flash CWR 2 again.
