Really Basic Guide Needed

Hi All, I am after a really basic guide on how to install Steves Rom on my Streak, I have a standard Streak with Dells 2.2 on it.

I have read some of the instructions hear but I am stuck on some basic stuff, these are the ones I am stuck on at the moment, but Iam sure there will be more, I know these are the sort of thing that once you have done it seem really stupid but they are stopping me install streakdroid at the moment !

1) When I connect my Dell to my Windows PC I can see a load of folders but I am not sure what the SD disk is called? I cant see anything called SD Disk. I need to find this in order to copy install.txtx to it?

2) How do I get clockwork on my dell, and how do I run it?

Any links or help much appreciated

And sure if you still having problems someone will help. My only advice is read all the instructions twice and make sure you fully understand them as flashing the roms and recovery is very easy it is also easy to make your phone unusable until you have fixed which is usually more complex.

You will enjoy your streak when its on a DJ steve rom they make it fly

let me summarize for you.

1. get fastboot install in your PC (you need this to get StreakMod or Clockwork into your phone). i would recommend streakmod

2. Run streakmod and use it to flash Steve ROM.

the drive itself is the sdcard. dont put in any folder, just on the card root.
