Guest damo6 Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 Hi I got an Orange San Fran for my wife and have debranded it all and put Froyo 2.2 on however i need to know how to find and then add varying keyboards for when she is texting. She had a nokia 5800 previously and liked that text keyboard so was wondering if anyone can tell me if and where i can download one of these from-i assume just then move it on to the sd card like i did with froyo or is it a bit more complicated? will save me much earache so any help much appreciated thanks

I came from an nokia 5230 which had the same keyboard as a 5800 and I found smart keyboard pro to be the best (when haptic vibration is activated) Touch Pal is a pretty good one too. Just search for them in the market!
Guest Android-Fan Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 I quite like touchpal v1 comes with the stock rom: http://www.cnet.com/8301-19736_1-10308610-251.html
Guest KelticDaz Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 I've tried a few keyboards and find SwiftKey to be the best by far. It's predictive text is second to none.
Guest Android-Fan Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 anyone tried swype? http://www.swypeinc.com/

Swype is brilliant, no need to be too accurate with words, just google Swype as it's not on Android Market yet, new and easy text entry method. Best Dave
