Guest Dyonas Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 I've posted this on XDA but I think I might get more replies here as the Vega seems to be a primarily UK product. I know the Vega is supposed to be cheap and the screen not the best but for what it is I really like it. However, I've noticed quite a few times now when I'll be doing something or when I pick certain things that I get lots of graphic artifacts on the screen in the form of long lines. It goes away as soon as I leave whatever made it happen and it is repeatable in some cases such as loading a profile image on TweetDeck. I've got a badly shot blurry photo of the artifacts on the screen but it's clear enough to show what I'm referring to. If anyone has any information on this or, I hope not, think that this may be a problem that will get worse in time please let me know! I've intentionally left this as a full view of the screen to lower blurryvision, it's the lines all over the lower half or left half if held in landscape but this is pretty random and can be anywhere on the screen.
Guest Panayioti Posted March 5, 2011 Report Posted March 5, 2011 Ye I have the same problem but it only occurs when I open dolphin HD. :(

Guest Dyonas Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 Please search before you create a new topic. Thanks. http://android.modaco.com/content/advent-v...screen-twitchs/ I don't mean to be rude but how am I supposed to understand that "screen twitchs" (sic) is referring to graphical artifacts? Even if it was spelled correctly it still doesn't sound anything like the problem I mentioned from that subject title alone. In fact, if I was looking at "screen twitchs" I'd think it was an issue where the screen went off and on sometimes. You could just have said what you did in that topic but instead you chose to make it seem that it was obvious and a search would have shown it. No, no it wouldn't and I'm sorry but when I searched for "graphic artifacts", because that's what I know it as, I got zero results.
Guest simonta Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 First of all, no offence intended, my apologies if any was taken. Secondly, you're not being rude, and I'm far to old and useless to take things personally. Third. It was a bad day yesterday for people opening new threads for very old topics, well covered in here. My frustration probably reared it's ugly head. Fourth, I only linked that thread because it was about 3 or 4 below your new topic so very obvious on the opening page. Finally, I spent 30 seconds searching for "graphics glitches" and "graphics problems" and both brought back relevant results, as does searching with Google. I come to these fora to do two things; to help where I can to payback for the second thing which is to take away the tips, tricks and fixes that others provide. The "interference" caused by repeat topics and undoubtedly some people (not pointing in any particular direction) who simply can't be bothered to search or give something back, is annoying and reduces the value of the fora immensely - but, the internet has thus ever been and probably ever will be. Cheers, and I will continue to do whatever I can to help you, and others, if I am able.
