Just got my Vega & I am stuck already.

I seem to be unable to get the usb driver installed properly. I have followed the guides on here & the driver seems to install, but it says "the device cannot start (code 10)"

The weird thing is I have this on 2 machines I have tried so I must be doing something wrong, but I can't suss out what it is.

Has anybody got any ideas?

Thanks

Please use existing threads before starting new ones. Everything you need, and more, is covered many many times in here.

What are you trying to do? Install mcr? Which USB drivers? Recovery or ADB? Which guide did you follow? Which OS are you using?

Quickest solution is probably to uinstall and delete the existing drivers. Then, without rebooting, manually install the drivers.

Have it working now, switched to XP & it worked 1st time

I was trying to do this on win7 & Vista both 32bit.

I followed these instructions

ADB Install Help file

***Make sure your Vega has USB debugging enabled (can be found in settings/applications/development)***

- In Device Manager click somewhere inside the opened window then select from menu bar - Action > Add Legacy Hardware

- Click Next > Select Install Manually > Do not sellect anything from the list, just click next

- Choose Have Disk

- Browse to Modaco Driver and select the .inf file (Available in c:/Vega Tools/Resourses/ModacoUSBDriver)

- Click OK

- Choose Android ADB Interface from the list by double clicking it

- Next and Finish

- Plug in USB cable

Then I also tried

http://android.modaco.com/content/advent-v...4/#entry1527188

The driver seems to install, but will not start.

Thanks
