Cheers all, Have no idea really about what the Vega can output through the HDMI socket but found this connection lead which may assist BUT be very careful as I don't know what will happen when you connect them I'm afraid. The safest way would probably be to connect them both via an Audio Video Receiver which should handle the translation of an HDMI input signal to VGA or RCA output. Good luck. :(
Guest wilkinsxg Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 (edited) i have samsung hg03 pico pprojector Hi Deathsfriend, Given that you're using a Pico Projector, I assume you're looking for a mobile solution that doesn't require a large AV receiver or similar setup. I know there are products available that would allow inline HDMI>VGA conversion, for around £60+. Try searching for 'HDfury 1080P HDMI to VGA Converter Transcoder', and you'll see one example. 'Startech' also make various 'active' adapters and converters for all kinds of video formats. I have one of their 'Component to DVI-I Video Converter' devices which I used with my consoles and computer monitor. Note that the 'HDfury' device is actually a DVI>VGA converter, so you'd also need an HDMI>DVI adaptor, as noted by one commenter on Amazon (whom was using it to connect to a projector). Hope this helps, George Edited March 6, 2011 by wilkinsxg
