Guest princeotter Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 Hi, Just tried to watching a love film stream and it's really juttery, has anyone tried it? Anyone got any ideas on how to get it working propery? I've reinstalled flash from the market and tried three different browsers..:( Cheers:) I have had the same issues which is a real shame as I was hoping to avoid having to rig the pc up to the TV. I also find that the lip sync is poor whereas it is fine using the PC outputting through HDMI. Hopefully Flash 10.2 will solve it and also hope that we soon get an app to control Vega from android phone to act as a remote control
Guest trevor432990 Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 Works pretty well for me though it is still slightly juddery I make allowance for the fact that the Vega doesn't have a souped up graphics card like my PC or PS3 has and it is passing video over Wi-fi rather than ethernet. The lip sync is reasonable too. There probably is a way of improving things through buffering but not found it yet :(
Guest liamb1234 Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 Really cant see this being a problem with the graphics "card" as u say. I have watched hd films off my vega via the hdmi port without any problem!. Its most likely to be the wifi connection/hardware! Bare in mind the quality of these things like iplayer are normally reduced.
Guest sipart Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 Works fine for me. Is it perfect when streaming to other devices but not to the Vega? Quality of love film streams is pretty low, certainly not 720p or anything higher that will be any issue for the Vega. I'm using r8 (with beegee_tokyo mod - this mod hasn't got any flash or video differences from normal r8). Tried seven and Zulu.
Guest dopeh Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 720p streaming over HDMI to my tv works awesome, mine does seem to have some issues with 1080p though. I haven't been able to view a single 1080p movie properly yet, they're out of sync most of the time. Not sure if it's the movie or the device, but I'll just keep trying :-)
