What is HTC Marvel? Is it HTC Wildfire S? Or Desire S? I think that phone in the video is Desire S.

I guess that rom dump is HTC Marvels stock rom. (whatever Marvel is :()

I thought a port from this htc device would be easier then the others since it has the same cpu as blade

What I was told:

Take the binaries from an armV6-device, and the framework and apps from a device with the same resolution, and hope that they work together.

there is a working cyanomod...and lot of different launchers?

may be the community should start an own UI. but thats an other topic

there are so many issuse beside the porting ...udates.. bugfixes... testing.. also copyright stuff , sense is owned by htc.

if you love sense so much just buy a desire

I was the owner of htc tattoo because it was the only htc phone i could afford but it was very limited in hardware

No, had only a small test with an automatic porting tool.

grab the boot.img from the honeycomb sdk port, combine it with the system dump and report back

you will need the keylayout for the blade, and to rotate the display 180 degrees in surfaceflinger

I will try to learn how to do those things and then do that on wednesday because it's when i go back home where i have the conditions to do that

Indeed best solution is to get binaries from that dump (and add blade-specific stuff like surfaceflinger, camera, sound, hw, etc) and add java parts to that from a Desire or Desire HD ROM.

I will NOT try it though.

can this be made with the htc kitchen? sorry if this is a noob question to do but this is the first time i try to make a custom rom and i dont know anything about it

I have done that and it stays on the green droid and after a while it reboots to recovery. any ideias?

as sayed before this is my. first. experience with making a custom ROM so. i dont know how to fix this things but i will try

I tried porting this but it didn't boot. No adb so no logcat and kmsg was useless. Given up for now, I might take another look sometime.

I remember that you also tried to port 2.2 sense from wildfire to tattoo but you didn't completed it

same dump and huashan leak have been used to create a Sense 2.1 rom for the HTC Vision
