Guest Simco Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 Hi Can anyone help. Complete novice. Got the Android vega after good write ups. Managed to install the upgraded software to get Flash back but now trying to install R6 and struggling. Seems to run out of room to copy files when I include the performance pack but no idea why! As I say, complete novice so if anyone can help in very simple English then much appreciated! Thanks in anticipation.

Why not r8? Edited March 6, 2011 by simonta
Guest Simco Posted March 6, 2011 Report Posted March 6, 2011 What do you mean "install the upgraded software"? What upgraded software? Why r6? Why not r8? Good question - the vega I bought didn't have flash so I had to install the latest firmware from myadventvega.co.uk - 1.09 I think. I then tried using Android Market and thought I needed the Rom upgrade - googled and it came up with R6. Just looking at R8 - think I'll try this and see what happens! Told you I was a novice! Thanks for your prompt reply.

Everything you need to know is in that thread and please follow the instructions carefully. The only place you might stumble is installing the correct ADB drivers. There is a TON of tips, walk throughs and instructions on how to do that. If you get stuck, please do not start a new topic. Use one of the existing ones. Cheers
