Hi everyone I have changed the screen density on my Vega so it doesn't change back when rebooted.

I have changed mine from 160 down to 140 which is good for me but you can make it bigger too depending on your eyes.

The first thing to do is download lcd density from the market, this is so you can test which size you want the screen real estate this will reset after a second reboot or change again in app.

When you have found the best number for you you need to make sure you are rooted and have root explorer installed.

Open root explorer go to system/ click on mount r/w at the top then go to the build.prop file click on it and hold it, then select open in text editor from the drop down box.

When it is open there will be info on the system look to see if you have " ro.sf.lcd_density=? " ? Being what ever number yours is set at should be 160.

If that line is there change the number to your required one if not go to the bottom of the list and type the command there has to be the same or wont work.

Now go to menu select save and exit this will save your new settings and also create a backup of the original build.prop before you changed it.

Now reboot your Vega and whoopee new density is set and wont change when you turn off and on again next time.

If you use a good launcher you can change how much space you have on the screen instead of 4x2 I have 6x4.

Just changed mine to 132 and now even better.

Hi.

I experimented a bit but decided to stay on the default 160.

Works well, saves installing more junk to achieve a simple task, nice one.
