Exchange Mail on my Vega

Hi,

Received my much-anticipated Vega a few days ago, and today tried to connect it to my work's exchange server, unsuccessfully.

I'm running MCR r8, using the Email app, and still the server returns that the device can't provide the suitable security capabilities.

BUT! On my N1, running 2.2 (DesireHD ROM), the connection was achieved with no issues at all.

What could be the reason for such an issue? Any ideas, anyone?

On my Blade I use Touchdown by NitroDesk. I found it very easy to setup. My company uses Outlook Web Access and that made it easier. In a addition to the normal password Touchdown also requires a pin number to open. This extra level of security is often required by Exchange. The downside is it is not free, but does have a 30 day trial

Works like magic. Trying for 30 days and would gladly pay, as it seems to be a great app.

I can also recommend Enhanced Email - works brilliantly with an Exchange 2010 server including calendar and contact sync.
