trying to help market install

i've been trying to help a newbie like myself to get the market on his new vega (got it on mine by reading this forum :( ) but he is getting into some difficulties, oh and he's on phandroid but i have pointed him to here, is there any chance of some kind soul taking a look at this phandroid thread to see if i'm missing something & also maybe helping this guy out ( i really hate letting a needy person down)

Took me all of 5 minutes using the SEARCH facility to find a topic which links to an 'alternate' way of installing the Market without doing the ROM mod which your friend is a bit apprehensive of doing (been there myself but overcame fear) tell him/her to check this XDA forum post and follow the instructions there and if that doesn't work tell him/her to become a member and let us know. :(
