Guest bigmc88 Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 hi guys, i've got an o2 simplicity sim (contract) and have just added a 500MB UK Data bolt one. the bolt on is now active so i turned off my wifi and can go on the internet without having to mess around with any apn settings or anything! seems to good to be true after seeing the hassle that some blade users had with getting internet sorted on their simplicity sim. there is a H with two arrows at the top of my screen. so is this my phone now working on 3g and using my bolt on?
Guest jr866gooner Posted March 8, 2011 Report Posted March 8, 2011 Yes H = HSDPA =3G H is 3.5 isn't it? I dont seem to see this anymore...
Guest Lew247 Posted March 8, 2011 Report Posted March 8, 2011 its all the same, 3G on other phones refers to the voice signal, 3.5g to data which is actually hsdpa but on the blade what you see in the notification bar depends on what rom you have and what icons are in the framework-res.apk file You can make it show whatever icon you want by modifying it
