how to get SKYPE

Hi

I am on three network pay monthly contract.

Three network let you use skype free.

I was using it with my symbian nokia phone .Now when I use my zte blade with three sim card in it .I go to three site to download skype and it says unfortunately your phone is not compatible.

How come they sell HTC desire and all other android phones with skype in it ?

I know their phones are flashed with special three network rom but there must be a way to put it on my phone

any help please?

The market one is different to the three one.

The three one routes calls through the phone network and costs nothing to use - not even data!

Does that 3uk skype version work properly on the blade? I don't use 3, so it's pointless for me to test. Do the calls come through the earpiece?

Yup, works fine for me.

Confirmed working for me. Previous version used to FC on me when I flashed Froyo but new one works great.

Works perfect and calls do come through the earpiece as a bonus :(
