Download media problems LG GT540

I need help for my LG GT540, whenever i download pictures, music, videos etc. straight from my phone browser, the media would work, but then after a while stop working.

For instance when i download videos, it will play and then later say this video is not supported or whatever. When i also take pictures from the camera they do not open so i cant view it. :(

It will only work if i transfer the files from my computer via USB.

Please help me!

Software 2.1<<<< this may be the problem but im not sure

Upgraded 32GB SD card<<<< this may the problem but im not sure

Rooted<<<< but problem didn't appear after this happened

Everything else works eg : apps ( although if the apps download music files, pictures and videos they don't work), msging etc.

If anymore info is need please ask!
