Recomendations for a 7" or 8" tablet

I am happily using an Advent Vega. My young daughter likes it a lot so I am thinking of buying her one. However, she would prefer a slightly smaller size for stuffing into her bag.

Can anyone recommend a reasonable tablet that is cheap and if possible runs 2.2.
