Guest Chelsentus Posted March 8, 2011 Report Posted March 8, 2011 Hello all I just got an Advent Amico with Android 2.1. The market is not available. I tried downloading the apps using the APK files but those apps usually dont work properly once installed. I see that there are a lot of upgrades available here which work on the Vega and I suppose do allow these apps to be available for it. Do these upgrades also run on the Amico? Oh and does anyone have the APK for Facebook? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks :( Chely
Guest warriorscot Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 Some of the changes in the rom for the vega would probably do in an amico so not a good idea. One of the older roms minus the performance pack might work as it's mostly just a batch file pushing the apk files for the relevant programs. Best way is to install the apk files using adb but make sure they are the right versions as if an app is made for a tegra based device it won't work on an Amico.
