Guest Dr00g Posted March 8, 2011 Report Posted March 8, 2011 Does anyone know any sound recorders that will be able to record a full lecture? Thanks in advance
Guest trasetroll Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 I would recommend Hi-Q MP3 Recorder. it records straight to mp3 - saves a lot of space for long recordings and you don't have to wait for some cumbersome conversion. not sure if there is a limit on recording time though since I haven't tried more than a few minutes myself.

Guest oh!dougal Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 (edited) I have VirtualRecorder. Works quite nicely, and you can sqeakily listen while fast-forwarding to find the bit you want. (Downside is the odd audio format needed to facilitate that though - but Audacity can convert it, if needed.) Not too sure how the Blade microphone might take to lecture-theatre acoustics ... PS somewhere I came across an app for photographing whiteboards, etc ... and outputting the pic as a neatly trimmed pdf. I can imagine that being a nice lecture companion for the audio recorder.
