I want PS1 boot animation with sounds!

Or Sega Megadrive - complete with voice saying "Sayyyy-Gaaaa"

Better yet, zx Spectrum load screen would be neat - with flashing edges and the sounds!

Try the attachment.

I wonder if that will work.....

I noticed that you have png and jpg mixes in there.. alternating between the 2.

Thought they all had to be .png files?

Not got my cable to test this sadly :(

No it doesn't need to be CWM to get it on there.

Should just be a replace the file and away you go...reboot and done new boot animation.

What actually happens?

Do you just get a black screen?

Ok try the one I've attached now.

I've made a few changes to the bootnaimation folders (hope nobody minds).

Removed the jpg files and just left the png files, also renamed the folder structure to a more standard one.

Let me know how you get on :(

Thanks it works!

Two problems tho.

1. Its a bit slow all the way through

2. At the end it flashes like crazy lol

Ok to speed up the animation you can edit the desc.txt yourself

480 264 15

p 1 0 part0

p 0 0 part1

Change it to

480 264 30

p 1 0 part0

p 0 0 part1

See if that speeds things up.

As for the flash... I'm not sure what is causing that.....

I've attached another version with slightly more frames at the final loop and the adjusted keyframe rate.

Give it a try :(

Still a great job on that animation :(

I wonder why it is flashing at the end.

Perhaps not enough holding frames in part1 (or loop in your instance).

I added from 46 - 50 as copies of the original 46 but maybe that is not enough to stop the flash :(

Might me due to the refresh rate on the phones display. if it displays at 60fps then there may be a flash as the background showing though. Gonna try the ps1 one now. With the music. :(

You need to rename the .mp3 file for the music. The animation is still to come. Will look very fragmented, i can only do this one @ 5fps.

Still looking for something better. I used http://benderconverter.com/ at 5fps to convert youtube vids. And I have a massive interest in customising stuff. :( Combine that with a college course in computing and a day off and this is what you get. :)
