Devices which are of a similar size to the ZTE Blade?

Hey guys,

Which phones out there have a similar shape / size to the ZTE Blade? I'm trying to find a 'flip down' case (one that covers the screen when I'm not using it) and I can't find any designed specifically for the San Fran / Blade, so I'm stuck :/

Any ideas?

Most (If not all) cases designed for the HTC Desire will fit the blade perfectly :(

But obviously not gel cases :(

There are hundreds, if not thousands.

Try one in the phone shop/market stall/pound shop.

I bought an iphone 4 flip case (PU leather) for £2, and just cut it a little for the camera and volume buttons. Not perfect as you have to cut a bit for the light sensor if using automatic screen brightness adjustment, and the magnets can get in the way of the lower buttons a tiny bit, but the phone's seem to be the same size so it fitted fine!

I've changed to the jelly case specifically made for the san fran now, bought two off fleabay, and fitted mine yesterday, yes I like the added protection of the flip, but the case is made to measure and seems very good quality!

I'm using one for a Nokia E72 (I think) it fits perfectly.

Copy and paste from an old post:

The SF is pretty similar to the E71 in general dimensions (fits securely into the free E71 case Nokia supply).

The SF volume rocker is in the same position as buttons on the E71.

The SF camera lense seems to be offset three mm or so down and left of the E71 equivalent.

The SF hard buttons on the front are below the bottom line of the E71 keyboard and the SF screen extends further up the face of the phone than the E71's.

The E71 power button is top-right if the casing rather than central, the USB port is 2 or 3 cm lower and the headphone socket in on the bottom rather than the top.

So an E71 case will be a pretty decent general fit but won't allow access to all functions of the SF if it covers front and / or sides and may cover the camera lense at the back (although given the quality of the SF camera some might say this would be no great loss.)

Do a search for 'flip case' on this very forum and see what others suggest, i went for the £3 ebay one and am very happy with it.

if you're looking for a flip case, try an iphone one. they are both 3.5' so it fits, i know coz ive got one
