Whats the deal here guys? Do you have hardware acceleration on? And ahb_oc? NFS Shift ran perfectly on my Blade when I had JJ. Now I have CM7 and games work even better on it. :(

Guest Pelemane Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 lol, could it really be that simple? Are u using adh or accelerator thing? Yes it is nowadays :( You can even download CM7 straight to your phone via ROM Manager. Yes I used and was overclocked @768MHz.

So, i install rom manager, then clockwork, then after that i download the rom i want, like cyogenmod, install and then finished? Edit: when i press "install clockwormod recovery it says "A problem occured due the saving of ur recovery". Whats the deal here? Jesus christ nothing ever goes like i want it :( Edited March 9, 2011 by spoty
Guest Pelemane Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 So, i install rom manager, then clockwork, then after that i download the rom i want, like cyogenmod, install and then finished? Install ROM Manager from market In ROM Manager choose "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery" Put ROM to SD card and in ROM Manager choose "Install ROM from SD Card", search ROM you just put there and then it asks if you want to wipe or make backup and choose them both and let it flash and you are ready. :(

Did you choose ZTE Blade and did you give root acces to ROM Manager when Super User asked it?

Guest Pelemane Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 I chose zte blade, superuser didn't pop up :( It should :( check if your superuser is working correctly.
Guest spoty Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 It should :( check if your superuser is working correctly. I can open superuser, and go to apps, log, settings, so i guess it works.
Guest Pelemane Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 I can open superuser, and go to apps, log, settings, so i guess it works. WTF! I cleared my download cache and now I get same error so I guess it is problem with servers like they say here. Try again later. :(

I used jellyfish with tpt transfer, do u think that can mess the process up? CyanogenMod-7?

I used jellyfish with tpt transfer, do u think that can mess the process up? CyanogenMod-7? If you reboot into recovery (volume - held and power) do you get into Clockwork Mod? If you do then you can use that to install any rom you like. If you want CM7 then you need the 3.0.0.5 modified or 3.0.0.6 version available on the forums. If you want to update CWM then you can do it via fast boot or you could try recovery manager app (Sebs) I personally like the fastboot method, it just...works :) There are plenty of guides on how to update your CWM version ;) In fact if you can get into CWM then you can just use an update.zip method with the file from Sebs thread. Put the rom you want on your SD card and install it from CWM :(

Why couldn't they? :( If you can live with the bugs in CM7 then choose it. If you dont like those bugs, choose FLB. Because of that TPT you just have to check that every ROM that you install will fit in 128Mb. CM7 and FLB do fit in there. @Qwertzycoatl: I assume that he has Amon Ra cause he installed JJ with TPT method. Edited March 9, 2011 by Pelemane

Guest Qwertzycoatl Posted March 9, 2011 Report Posted March 9, 2011 Where can i read about these bugs? Are there any huge bugs? There is a whole thread related to CM7 issues on the ROM subforum. Main issues - Proximity sensor can leave the screen blank after a call (often needs a battery pull to fix) Battery drain is rather immense Random Screen freezes
