I have modaco R8 on there but wondering what's the returns policy at currys/pc world? Il restore to stock firmware- anyone got a link? Iv had the tablet less two weeks. Can you let me know if I get all my money back or just store credit?

If for whatever reason you change your mind and would like to return your order after delivery, we’re happy to refund or exchange your purchase as long as it’s unopened and in its original packaging. Not sure why you feel you are entitled to a refund either - unless it is faulty or you bought it online and are retuirning it under the DSRs you don't have any legal right to your money back.

Dixon's offered me a refund 2 weeks after I bought mine as I emailed them with screen issues, they'll generally refund or replace faulty hardware or something which does not function to the expected/desired level within 28 days, if you changed your mind then you have 7 days in UK under distance selling regulations if you bought online. many stores voluntarily extend this to 28 days such as Amazon, tescos etc, so curry's might do same. Best advice is speak to curry's over the phone and sound them out on the issue, if they have good customer service they'll do what they can to help you.

Legally, you are not entitled to refund just because you changed your mind if you bought in store. However, Currys are qquite flexible and give the option to return/refund anything with 28 days as long as its returned in the condition it was sold. Ask yourself, would you be happy if you bought it in the condition you plan to return it? You can restore to manufacturer spec by downloading the latest setup files from myadventvega. Also, it helps if you are nice to the staff! Ps. I DO NOT work for currys btw. Speaking from personal experience. Edited March 10, 2011 by steviesteve
