Script to create/restore nandroid backups via nvflash

I have been messing around with my vega for a while and regularly get into a state whereby I can't boot or even get into clockworkmod recovery.

To help fix things up when this occurs I have written a short shell script that can be used to create/restore a nandroid-compatible backup directly via nvflash.

The script will backup/restore the recovery, boot, system, cache and data partitions same as it would be done from recovery.

All it needs is to be run from the same directory as nvflash binary and the bootloader.bin file

It means that I can restore back to an old backup no matter what ROM I put on the tablet - even if I completely mess things up

I thought I'd just upload it in case it comes in handy for any other users

Sounds good, but I have some questions:

a- the script has to be on your SDcard or on your PC?

b- if on the SDcard, I go to NVFlash mode (return + power + return sequence) and then start it trhough ADB?

c- if on PC, is it Linux only? .sh is not executable on Windows PC.

Thanks for clarifying. Should be not too difficult to make a Windows version of it.

Making a windows version would be excellent!!! would save having resort the factory rom to then only have to nandroid back again.
