Good case for the Advent

Hi all,

Really enjoying the Advent with the Modaco ROM and find myself using it daily. I'm currently housing it in a case I picked up at Dixons which was obviously for a netbook. I just wanted to get an idea if there were any particular cases people can recommend?

I've got the official case & it fits perfectly (as it should), it could really do with something to stop the thing sliding out the side though. There's a 26 page thread on accessories at: http://android.modaco.com/content/advent-v...ga-accessories/

I had the DSG Case as well but i am waiting for it to be collected today......... the fake leather is splitting and it does indeed slide out of the side.

Poor quality even with the £10 discount.

I bought a £4 neoprene sleeve from ebay......... keep it thin the way its meant to be :(

I keep going on about this but I got my Mum to knit me a sleeve for it, fits like a glove and stops it getting scratched in my bag, does turn a few heads on the train though when I bring it out :(

Covers the camera lens and obsures the screen lock a little.

But all in all an excellent piece of kit.

Shipping took a couple of weeks but for that price what the hey :(

Looks interesting that stand / case Keith at ~ 6 quid it looks a steal

Using the official case which fits a treat, thinking of putting a bit of Velcro at the back to stop it slipping out. :-)

Denis I have bought a one that looks very much like that one but in black from Tesco.

I have ordered the case that Keith posted, under £10 delivered, its gotta be worth a punt :(

What's the fit like with that case Keith? Has it let up and loosened after use?

Hard to describe, whilst not loose it is not over tight either.

Had it for around 3 months now without problems.

The vega slides into the case from the right when fastened there is a flap with a press stud

which holds it in.

For the price you cannot beat it.

I use a slip in netbook sleeve/case from stables

I got the Toshiba Folio 100 cover case, see http://www.toshiba-multimedia.com/eu/media-tablet/folio100/ under "Accessories".

It's a very good quality case and it fits the Vega perfectly. It cost me about 30€. Also works as a stand at multiple angles and it has an elastic band to safely hold the device in my hand.
