Guest btm126 Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 The internet performance seems very sluggish, on both wifi and 3G. My HTC desire on same wifi connection is instant, but this can take a long time to fully load a page up. It is particularly noticable on the bbc news page. More simple pages seem better. I've tried Dolphin browser and that is the same. I displays the front page, but the progress bar keeps going across for a couple of minutes. In that time, it isn't possible/easy to click links. Is this down to the lower processing power, or is something wrong. I was hoping it was the Orange bloatware, but just flashed Jellyfish and it doesn't seem any better. Could someone else try bbc news and see if they have the same issue please. Thanks
Guest GX390 Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 Try FLB R10B I had jap jelly before but it was slow and now it's not being updated anymore try FLB it's made my phone so much better than it was on the stock rom :(
Guest btm126 Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 OK, I'll try FLB and see if that helps. May also play about with overclocking it and see if that helps, though I realise that will be at the expense of battery life.
