Guest tomib Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 Hi all, today i have updated original android 1.5 with official 2.1 update from uk tmobile website. I havent wiped my SD card before updating the phone. I did SD card update as suggested on the tmobile website, everything went smooth...only problem after loading new firmware is my homescreen. There are 4 buttons on the screen as in 1.5, they look the same and have same position, but they have different functions..i go from the left: .on screen button for favourite contats opens applications list.. next is button for contacts which now opens txt messages,, another button is for apps and opens contacs...last button which was originally for screen selection now opens contacs as well. I wouldnt that the function on buttons has changed but they look the same which doesnt make any sense. Please help!

First everything was working ok for 3-4 months than i switched to another mobile operator so i had to put a new SIM card, and since than is messed up.
Guest zenchan Posted March 11, 2011 Report Posted March 11, 2011 I vaguely recall this was a known bug with the original Hungarian 2.1 update we had last year. That update came with an additional small file to flash in the event of those icons being wrong on some phones.
