Custom ROM Upgrade Question

Hi. If these questions are covered elswhere, please forgive me.

I have flashed my girlfriend's Vega last December to moDaCo custom ROM r5, and now want to upgrade it to the r8, but I am concerned about a few things. If I upgrade do I risk losing the currently installed apps (also those moved by App2SD), the app data, emails, and other data, or will upgrading be straight forward and pretty transparent, ie, all content previoulsy on the device will still be there and accessible just as before, but the Vega now runs r8?

Basically, after upgrading, will my girlfriend want to kill me, or be nice to me?

If you upgrade MoDaCo ROMs usually you keep our apps. App2SD is not touched as well. But to be safe, use Titanium Backup!

Many thanks. I have just updated, and everything (apps and data) is still there and working, and the Vega is running better than it ever has. Fantastic ROM!

She'll either not notice the update, even if you do point it out to her.

Oh, & she'll no doubt find something else to kill you for, it's still early.
