Sounds promising but the real news I want to hear from Sony is that they are launching an Android version of the 'Remote Play' app so that I can watch Play TV and other video media stored on the PS3 through my Vega. Hurry up lads !! :(

+1 for this! There is a version which looks like it was ported to iPad/iPhone so it may well be possible:

My guess is they'll sit on remote play in case they plan on bringing they're own tablet out & release it exclusively for that, like they did with their Vaios.

You're probably right although hopefully now they are getting closer to Google maybe they will release something earlier to show good faith fingers crossed :(
