Hey,

Saw the tutorial by "PhilNelwyn"...

Which is the best..SuperOneClick or Z4ROOT...???

Do i have to backup my current ROM before rooting..??

Also i need instructions on how to backup a ROM...what is nandroid..??

I couldnt find results for nandroid in the market...

Should i use ROM manager(ClockworkMod) for backing up...

How to restore..??

Pls help...I'm new to android...!! :(

its best just to have a backup, in case anything happens. just install the recovery amonra by Vache and back up ur phone. u can do it by installing the software and booting it into recovery mode. u can find the instruction to boot into recovery mode somewhere inside this subforum

z4root works for me on my old official roms but didnt on newer versions of the official rom. but if u're making a backup, why not try install custom roms provided in this subforum? i'm using Metalounay and its quite nice. gonna try t&l next :(

Note : it's not by me, it's by Piticoeur, I just translated it.

I saw that you have low memory space problem.

Just flash Vache's Metalounay, it's already rooted and cleaned up to bring more free memory.

I can't say what is the best (SuperOneClick or Z4ROOT), but SuperOneClick workd just fine for me.
