unlocking spv to play games

hi im a new spv user an i see that some people are playin gameboy games on there spv..............how. i see that you need to unlock your phone or something. how is this done? is it safe? if so how safe?

Walks, you really should do a search first, if you click on the main forum, you will see this "sticky" post (always near the top)

which explains the process. I doubt anyone can legaly say that you should de-certify, but at the moment its the only way to play gameboy/ nes/ atari games. remember tho, it will return you phone to out-of-the-box state, so make sure you have everything backed up before you start
