how to tell one's rom can support a2sd+ through the zip file?

how to tell a2sd+ works successfully on my phone ?

if a rom supports a2sd and a2sd+, how to tell which one works on my phone?

if i don't want a2sd+, how can i unintall or remove it from the rom' zip file?

Even if this question was answered quite often - i still wonder about xuhuang questions. I find it very hard to get propper info abaut that topic and I really spend the hole last evening to get answers.

For example CM7 does ist have A2SD or A2SD+ and do I need to install Darktremor http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=670087

Which roms have right now A2SD+, I just find one in MoDaCos table - his own rom.

CM7 doesn't support A2SD, but installing DarkTremor works just fine :D.

Unzip the rom and look into /system/etc/init.d, there should be a script linking and mounting those partitions.

CM7 doesn't support A2SD, but installing DarkTremor works just fine :D.

Thank you all for your answers. I tried this solution with CM 17, but had problems after some reboots. The sd-card won't be recognized anymore. This could be related with the updated kernel from this post http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...tal-cm7-kernel/ which I installed yesterday.

I'm a little bit confused how to decide, 2.2 or 2.3 without or with A2SD? What is your experience, do you need A2SD at all? I won't install many games.

When using A2SD, as far as I understand I have these options:

When choosing 2.2

• choose A2SD (+) and stay at 2.2 (MoDaCo Custom Froyo ROM have A2SD+ right?)
  
  • choose CM7 with A2SD by using Darktremor
    
  • choose CM7 with A2SD by using sdimple2ext
    
  • choose CM7 without A2SD
    

  Any further ideas?
