Ok go to the market and download quadrant standard. Once installed run the full benchmark.

I dont think i got a good score. 2095. running fuji-vega 0.4

Well I ran it on mine and the score was 1918 then carried on (for more tests I presume) but then it Force Closed itself so no idea what it was trying to do. :D

How weird ... did a search for 'quadrant force close' and found this on XDA site :-

"Hold your tablet in portrait mode when Quadrant runs until it finishes & displays the results screen - it does not FC in portrait, but does in Landscape mode. My guess is that there's a software bug there that causes it to FC when it tries to do a screen rotation just before displaying the results."

Put it into portrait position 'before' running Quadrant again and it worked fine and this time my score was 2245 !!

i dont think it does matter i have noticed some time my vega positively flies along and runs very smoothly so i benchmark it and get a score as low as 1850 yet at other times i get 2400 with no discernable difference in performance?

Orange San Francisco (Running MoDaCo Custom ROM for ZTE Blade r12 (Froyo)) - 753

Apad FR-809 (Running imx51_Utopia_xaumod_0.12 (Froyo)) - 978

Advent Vega (Running MoDaCo Custom ROM 1.08(Froyo)) - 2157

Hmmm think I must be hooked on Android, 2 weeks ago I'd never seen an Android device, now I have three! Vega performs well up against the other two, that said I am fairly pleased with the San Francisco as it wasn't far behind the Samsung Galaxy S in the tests and it only cost me £89.99!!! Not quite ready to sell my iPhone yet, but blimey I've been impressed when you consider I could buy about 7 San Francisco's for the cost of my single iPhone!

Roll on Honeycomb!

Quadrant is notoriously unreliable. Second run is usually better than first. Probably best to run it three times and get the average.

I don't mean to be annoying guys, but you should use this instead:

https://market.android.com/details?id=com.s...e=search_result

It benchmarks android devices more reliably and in a more accurate way, as it takes into account multithreading (or multiple cores), like with the Tegra 2 chipset.

I get 3144 with smartbench, interesting results with all the other tablets. Looks like the Xoom has been overclocked to 1.5ghz!
